Refund Policy

Effective October 3, 2026.

Each report is generated and delivered in full the moment payment clears, so it cannot be "returned." We will nevertheless refund a purchase in these cases, on request to support@payauthors.com within 14 days of purchase:

• the report page or the files never became available to you, and we could not fix it within two business days of your telling us;
• the PDF or CSV is technically unusable (for example, corrupt or empty when the free check showed records);
• the report is materially not as described on the site;
• you were charged more than once for the same search;
• the report includes books by another person with the same or a similar name. Tell us which titles are not yours and we will correct the report at no charge: we take those titles out of the report and its totals and, if you like, run it again under a fuller form of your name. If you would rather have your money back, we will refund it instead.

We do not refund because the results were not what you hoped for, because a spelling or pen name you did not search is missing, or because the catalogs and registration data we cover do not contain a work you believe should be there. Reports draw on dated LibGen catalog snapshots (2015–2025), Z-Library records (via PiLiMi and Anna’s Archive), the Internet Archive’s lending catalog, the published Books3 file list, Sci-Hub and LibGen journal-article lists, and U.S. Copyright Office TX registrations from 1978 through 2025; the methodology page lists each source and the current dataset build. The free check exists so that you can see the counts and the titles found, and untick any that are not yours, before you pay.

Refunds go back to the card used, through Stripe, normally within 5–10 business days. Please quote the report ID (on the report page and in the PDF) or the e-mail address you used at checkout.
