Reports

Check a report file

For report holders, counsel, courts and anyone a report is shown to.

Each version of a PayAuthors report is issued once and kept unchanged: its PDF, CSV, notes and JSON are never rebuilt, and each file’s SHA-256 checksum is listed on the report page. Choose a report file below to check that it is exactly a file we issued. Your browser computes the checksum; only the checksum is sent to us, never the file.

A file that was edited, re-saved, converted or printed to a new PDF will not match, even if it looks the same. A match confirms the file’s origin and that it is unchanged; it says nothing about whether a later version exists, so the result also gives the report’s latest version number. The check shows the short report number, never the name searched.
